LAND INFORMATION, USED RESPONSIBLY
Land records & corrections
Published 17 September 2026
What a record means
A published record describes information supplied to the platform. It does not establish ownership, the right to sell, the validity of a document, the absence of another claim, or the availability of land. An empty search is not evidence that land is unclaimed. Coverage depends on submissions and may be incomplete or outdated.
“Platform reviewed” means an administrator reviewed submitted material and approved publication. It does not mean the Lands Commission authenticated or registered the claim. A flag indicates a concern or potential match needing attention, not a finding of fraud or a legal decision against anyone.
Automated checks compare references, file fingerprints and drawn boundaries. They can identify shared edges and other innocent matches. A human administrator decides platform publication; CLADTS does not adjudicate land rights.
Before making a land decision
Obtain appropriate official searches and independent advice from a Ghana-qualified lawyer and qualified surveyor. Confirm the identity and authority of the person offering land, the parcel on the ground, relevant consents, encumbrances and registration requirements. A map drawn in this app is not a certified cadastral survey. Uploading a document or clicking a button here does not transfer or register land.
Official registration information is available from the Lands Commission. Where an agent or broker is involved, use the REAC public registry to check licensing. Links do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
Responsible submissions and use
- Submit only a claim you are entitled to make or represent. State your capacity accurately; do not impersonate an owner, family, stool, company or authority.
- Provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge. Do not upload fabricated, altered or misleading evidence, malicious files, threats or unlawful allegations.
- Have a lawful basis for sharing information about other people. Inform them about the intended use and disclosure where required. Your own agreement cannot substitute for another person’s rights.
- Redact irrelevant identification numbers, signatures, financial details, contact details and information about children. Do not upload unnecessary sensitive information or record people without appropriate authority.
- Do not scrape claimant identities, build marketing lists, harass claimants, resell personal information, bypass access controls or reuse records for unlawful purposes.
- Tell us when information becomes inaccurate or your authority to share it changes.
Publication makes selected record details accessible beyond the submitter. Guests can see limited parcel information and approximate locations. Any signed-in account can see published claimant names, title references, descriptions and exact submitted boundaries. Uploaded supporting files, unpublished submissions and review notes are restricted in the app to the submitter and authorised administrators. Recipients may copy published information; account access does not make it confidential.
Report, correct or request removal
You do not need an account to raise a concern. Email info@cladts.com with the subject “Record concern”. Signed-in users can also report a published record in the app.
- Identify the record using its link or plot reference.
- Explain what is wrong, the right or interest affected, and whether you seek correction, restricted publication or removal.
- Provide a reply address and your relationship to the claim. If acting for someone else, explain your authority.
- Describe the supporting evidence available. Do not email full identity documents, bank statements or unredacted deeds initially; ask how to provide necessary evidence securely.
For a formal unlawful-content notice, also include your full name and address, the location and nature of the material, the requested action, a statement that the information is accurate and made in good faith, and your signature. Ask for help if you cannot supply these details; an ordinary privacy or correction request can still be raised by email.
An administrator assesses the concern and may seek further information, contact relevant parties or restrict publication while reviewing it. Only information necessary to address the issue should be shared. A complaint does not automatically prove wrongdoing or change a record. Request reconsideration by replying with the record reference and reasons. Platform moderation cannot settle legal title disputes.
Reporting to CLADTS is not an objection filed with the Lands Commission, a police report, or court proceedings. It does not stop any official deadline. You may approach the relevant authority or court independently.
Privacy complaints
For access to your information, correction, objection or deletion requests, email info@cladts.com. Reasonable identity checks may be needed to protect your information. You may also contact Ghana’s Data Protection Commission; using our process does not remove that option.
